The Birmingham Historical Museum and Park is modernizing, joining with museums across the country that are changing their names to incorporate new approaches to engage the public.
Renaming the the museum is an important objective of the organization’s strategic plan plan.

As the museum reviews its mission and name, community members are asked to submit feedback via a short survey.

- Birmingham Museum & Archives
- The Birmingham Cultural Museum
- The Birmingham Heritage Center
The survey was developed by the City of Birmingham’s Museum Board and can be taken anonymously online here. Residents, visitors, business owners, employees and more are encouraged to vote.
All responses must be submitted by Thursday, Dec. 31.
