2 License Plates Stolen from Same Location Days Apart
Also, a homeowner reports the wires were cut in several places on his Christmas decorations.

Bloomfield Township police have taken two reports of stolen license plates in recent days from the same location.
A woman told Bloomfield Township police on Nov. 15 that someone stole the license plate from her vehicle while she was shopping at the Kroger store in the Village Knoll Shopping Center at 3600 Lahser. The incident occurred between 6-6:45 p.m.

Two days later, on Nov. 17, a man told police that the license plate was taken from his vehicle while it was parked behind the same store. That theft is believed to have occurred some time after 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 16.
Both thefts followed an earlier report of a stolen license plate from the rear parking lot of Page Honda, 1819 Telegraph.

The victim parked his car at the dealership at 3:15 p.m. on Nov. 12. When he returned to his vehicle at 9:15 a.m. the following day, the license plate had been stolen.
All three cases have been turned over the Investigations Division.

Larceny
On Nov. 15, officers were dispatched to the 500 block of N. Fox Hills to investigate the theft of a catalytic converter. The victim reported that on between 2-4:30 p.m. on Nov. 13, the catalytic converter was stolen from her 2003 Chevy Venture.
The vehicle was parked in the victim’s assigned car port. The case has been turned over to the Investigations Division.
Malicious Destruction of Property
On Nov. 14, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of N. Glengarry for a malicious destruction of property report. The homeowner hired a contractor to install outdoor Christmas decorations.
The homeowner found the wires and extension cords to the decorations had later been cut in several places.
Theincident occurred between 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 13 and 2:20 p.m. on Nov. 14.
The matter has been turned over to the Investigations Division.
