9th Annual Burnout BBQ-Looza
Burnout features plenty of live music, refreshing libations, mouthwatering barbecue, and an amateur rib cook-off.

Announcing the 9th Annual Burnout BBQ-looza, which will be held in the Ferndale Public Library parking lot within a tent pavilion on Saturday, May 14th. In conjunction with The Social Connection, Burnout is sponsored by Dino’s Lounge and hosted by Dino Bach himself. A much anticipated yearly tradition, Burnout features plenty of live music, refreshing libations, mouthwatering barbeque, and an amateur rib cook-off. Each of the 8 teams participating in the Amateur Rib Cook-off benefits from local sponsorship, such as Team Vision which is backed by local realty company Keller Williams Agency, Pro Home Improvement, and Blumz Florist. Festivities will run from noon – 10pm, with two ticket options available. From noon – 4pm guests who purchase the tasting ticket for $40 (now ONLY $25!) will receive generous sample portions of St. Louis Championship Ribs prepared by all of the participating cook-off teams, plus two sides. After sampling each team’s rib submission guests can then vote for the team that they think should bring home the coveted grand prize for best ribs. After 4pm guests can purchase a general admission ticket for $10 which includes access to live entertainment, cash bar, and barbecue available for purchase.
