BHSD Agenda: Budget, Enrollment and High School Transition Update

The Bloomfield Hills Schools Board of Education meets at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. tonight at the Doyle Center.

The Bloomfield Hills Schools Board of Education will host two public meetings today, beginning with a study session on the budget at 5 p.m. at the Doyle Center. The meeting could include information on how the federal sequster may impact funding for programs this year.

The board will also go into closed session to evaluate Superintended Rob Glass.

They will reconvene at 7 p.m. and begin with a special recognition of students and staff. They also will receive a National Historical Marker for the Wing Lake Schoolhouse during a special presentation from Barbara Balow, Piety Hill Chapter of the Daughter's of the American Revolution.

  • Mary Hillberry, principal at Lone Pine Elementary School, will be featured in the Principal's Instruction Showcase.
  • Officials with Plant Moran CRESA will present enrollment projections for 2013-2017.
