Bloomfield Area Runners Finish the Chicago Marathon
Nearly two dozen runners and walkers from Bloomfield and Bloomfield Hills competed in Sunday morning's marathon event.
More than 37,000 runners and walkers raced and finished the Chicago Marathon on Sunday morning and 23 of them were from Bloomfield Hills.
Tsegaye Kebede of Ethiopia won the race in 2:04:38. Atsede Baysa of Ethiopia was the first woman to finish at 02:22:03.
