
The Bloomfield Hills Black Hawks defeated the Frasier Ramblers by a score of 6-1 in a game played Thursday at the Detroit Skating Club. Playing their first of three back to back games, the Black Hawks opened the scoring at 5:28 of the first period with a goal from Joey Cucco. Sonny Kim got the assist. The Black Hawks scored again at 9:33 on a goal from Zach Raider. Credit Captain Johnny Artemenko, and Jordan Stone with the assists. Bloomfield Hills kept the pressure on in the first with their third goal with less than a minute to play in the period at 16:59. The goal was scored by Jordan Stone on a pretty pass from Assistant Captain Connor Holman. The Black Hawks continued their unanswered scoring early in the second period with a goal from Connor Holman at 1:13. His effort was assisted by Dominic Cappello. The Hawks lit the light yet again in the second with a goal scored by Banks Burkart, and an assist to Dominic Cappello. Finally, at 13:01 Bloomfield Hills scored their final goal of the game. The goal was scored by Sonny Kim with an assists to Bobby Moeller and Houston Peach. The assist was Moeller’s second point in two games. Fraser got on the board with their lone goal at 13:26 of the third. The goal was scored by Brendan O’Connor with assists to Zack Zombo, and Trevor Hunt to spoil the shutout effort of Black Hawk goalie Drew Hauk. Bloomfield had a total of 30 shots on goal, while Fraser tallied 14. In a post-game interview Black Hawks Head Coach Bruce McAlister said “It was great to see our boys show good energy once again. It was particularly nice to see us play most the game at full strength…it really made a difference. Play got “chippy” at times but we kept our cool and didn’t go to the box”
