Bloomfield Hills Runners Finish Strong at Spartan Invitational
Lahser, Andover and Marian were among the teams from throughout the state to compete at Michigan State in the Spartan Invitational on Friday.
EAST LANSING — High school runners from Bloomfield Hills made a statement at Friday's Spartan Invitational track meet in East Lansing. During the event, runners completed a 5,000 meter race.
The girls cross country team, led by Elena Miller and Alana O'Mara, ran to a 14th place finish Friday in the Green Division while the boys from Lasher finished 20th, also in the Green Division.
Meanwhile, girl runners from the cross country team, led by Lexi Sinclari and Mackenzie Gammons, finished just ahead of their inter-city rivals in 13th place. Andover boys finished 28th. Both teams were also in the Green Division.

Also at the meet were the runners from , who came in 39th overall. Top runners for the Mustangs were Cara Holinski, who came in 168th, and Shae Bugoslaski, who came in 211th.
