Bloomfield Players Announces six Performances of Addams Family Jan. 15-24
Community Theater stages The Addams Family January 15-24 as final performance at Lahser High School

Featuring an operatic score, tango dancing, a REAL fencing fight, and lots of great humour, THE ADDAMS FAMILY is a magnificently macabre musical comedy CREATED BY JERSEY BOYS AUTHORS Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, receiving nominations for BEST ORIGINAL SCORE AND OUTSTANDING MUSICAL the year it opened.
Come join the family with a lot of heart. The Addams Family is a modern day, multi-layered love story filled with a kooky family and ghostly ancestors that must help Gomez and Morticia’s daughter Wednesday through the trials and tribulations of love.
The book is by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice and music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa which is filled with hysterical lines and musical treats!

Now in its 26th year, Bloomfield Players began as a program in the Bloomfield Hills School District’s Recreation Department. Today BP is an independent nonprofit corporation and a section 501(c)(3) public charity under the Internal Revenue Code. The purpose of the Bloomfield Players is to showcase local talent, to nurture our youth, to provide opportunities for self-expression, to build self-esteem, to cultivate strong relationships, to pursue excellence, to delight our audiences through theater and to have fun! We receive no funding from the school district, and in fact pay the district for the use of its theater and for other services. All administrative personnel are unpaid volunteers, including the board of directors and all officers.
