People in the Bloomfield area continue to mourn the loss of a number of friends and family during the past week. That includes those that knew Walter O. Briggs III and Joseph Pascuzzi, Jr.
Briggs was a former mayor and zoning commissioner of Bloomfield Hills, and the son and grandson of Detroit Tigers owners. Read his complete obituary in the Detroit News.

Pascuzzi taught mathematics and was head football coach at Brother Rice High School from 1963-1968. Pascuzzi lead the team to its first division championship in 1967 and is a member of the Catholic League Hall of Fame. He was 82. Read his complete obituary at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home's website.
Visitation is today from 2–8 p.m. at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home at 1368 N. Crooks Rd. in Clawson. A Funeral Mass is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Regis Catholic Church.
