The Cheers Gala for Easter Seals Michigan

Clarkston, Mich - Easter Seals Michigan (ESM), soon to be featured on PBS News Hour highlighting the new LUNA (Look, Uncover, Nurture, Act) program for children with emotional trauma, will host the Cheers Gala 2015 on Friday, December 4, 2015. More than 200 supporters of Easter Seals Michigan’s programs and services will enjoy a festive evening with live entertainment, a silent & live auction, a strolling dinner, cash bar and casino games. Senator Debbie Stabenow will bring holiday greetings and Karen Carter of CBS & CW50 will emcee the program. A special performance by ESM’s Miracle League of Michigan dance troupe featuring children with disabilities will also take place in partnership with Jack’s Place for Autism Foundation.

CEO Brent Wirth said, “Guests will be treated to a rare performance they won’t soon forget. Our Miracle League dancers are talented and inspirational. The Cheers Gala sets the perfect tone for the holiday season and we are grateful for the overwhelming support of our sponsors and volunteers.” While Katie Coleman, president of Sellers Auto Group added “Easter Seals was the first to help my sister and my family will never forget that.
