DCDS Students Won National Violin Competition

Detroit Country Day School Students Won Violin Titles in the 114th American Guild of Music National Convention and Contest

Congratulations to Alan Sun, Detroit Country Day School senior for his recent win the North American Invitational Championship (NAIC) sponsored by the American Guild of Music (AGM). The 114th AGM annual National contest was held in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 29 to Aug 2. Alan also won North American Open Concerto Championship for violin advanced division and Anna Sun, Detroit Country Day School freshman won for the senior division. Alan was invited to perform the winning piece at the awards banquet.
