Tigers infielder/outfielder gets first playoff start in Game 4 letdown vs. Yankees.
Unlike Monday, Don Kelly couldn't help the Tigers beat the New York Yankees in last night's Game 4 of the American League Divisional Series, which now shifts back to the Big Apple. Nor did he win our Patch 'Unsung Tiger' poll, claimed by the other utility infielder, Ramon Santiago, with 40 percent of the vote.
Still, that didn't stop Bloomfield Township resident Alyson Greenwell from sending in this photo she got with Kelly while visiting spring training in Lakeand, FL, earlier this year.
"Don Kelly is the epitome of 'unsung hero.' He works hard, executes key plays and rarely receives the credit he deserves," said Greenwell, 22.
