Eagle Elementary Sale to Islamic Cultrual Center Moves Forward
The Franklin-based organization and Farmington Public Schools have 30 days to close the sale.

Officials with the Farmington Public Schools said Tuesday that the Islamic Cultural Association in Franklin is moving ahead with the purchase of Eagle Elementary School in West Bloomfield.
After a two-week delay to deal with concerns from a third-party title company, ICA on Monday sent an additional $30,000 deposit, required as the next step in the process. The two parties now have until Nov. 30 to close the deal.

West Bloomfield Township will ultimately review any building plans. Senior Planner Sara Roediger said no plans have been submitted, but the planning department was in touch with ICA's architects and engineers about a month ago.
