Jazz Concert featuring MSU Jazz Orchestra II

Conductor: Etienne Charles
The nineteen-piece Jazz Orchestra II, one of MSU’s 3 very talented big band groups, is a young, swinging college band playing the repertoire of the great jazz masters as well as a wide range of soul, swing, blues, and gospel. The group’s instrumentation includes saxophone, trombone, trumpet, bass, drums, piano, guitar, and sometimes guest vocalists.
So if you want to "jazz" things up a little in your life, then come to Andover's auditorium this Thursday, March 22 at 7PM for this FREE concert put on by the MSU JAZZ ORCHESTRA II.  2010 AHS alum, Travis Sinclair, who is a jazz performance major at MSU will be playing baritone saxophone with the group.  The Spartans will be entertaining the audience with an evening full of jazz standards so bring your dancing shoes and some friends and make it a fun night out on the town!
This concert is brought to you courtesy of the Andover Instrumental Music Supporters(AIMS).
