Excel Rehabilitation Services is now ATI Physical Therapy

New Name, Same Great Staff

Oakland County’s premier provider of physical therapy has a new name. Located in Bloomfield, Milford and Waterford, Excel Rehabilitation Services is now ATI Physical Therapy. Excel joined ATI, a nationally-recognized provider of outpatient rehabilitation services, in August and has now completed the transition to the ATI Physical Therapy name.

“We have already been able to help our patients in new and exciting ways with ATI, while still keeping our same outstanding relationships and personalized care intact.  It’s been very exciting for all of us,” said Kelli Courtois, clinical director of ATI Bloomfield.

Patients continue to see many of the same friendly faces at ATI. Excel’s staff members, including members of the management team, joined ATI. ATI also acquired Excel’s partner company Michigan Rehabilitation Specialists (MRS).

“ATI has made the transition to joining their company easier, courtesy of the resources that they have brought to the table,” said Bruce Wihongi, PT, and director of the Milford clinic. “These include a new electronic medical record system, a large HR department, and an IT department which streamlines billing and other aspects of patient care. My staff has embraced ATI and we look forward to utilizing these new resources to further improve the level of care we have provided to the local community over the past 15 years.”
