Feature Photo: Charter Students Go Green For a Good Cause
Students sported green in honor of St. Patrick's Day and collected cash for the MDA.

Several students at the Walton Charter Academy in Pontiac wore green to celebrate St. Patrick's Day last Friday and in doing so helped raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Students could wear green the entire day by donating a dollar to help raise awareness for the disease. In all, the students raised $1,000 that will be earmarked for durable medical equipment for local children with muscular dystrophy and send them to the MDA's summer camp.
