Finalists for Bloomfield Hills High School Logo Design Chosen

Voting is under way for the new school logo through April 9.

 

Students between the 5th and 10th grades in the are currently voting for the mascot design of the new Bloomfield Hills High School. 

The mascot adjudication committee, which was supervised by the Andover and Lahser high school art departments, evaluated all the and narrowed the field to three finalists, unveiled late last week. The designs accompany this story.

District officials said students were excited to be part of the process and that the committee believes the design candidates reflect the spirit of the new unified high school, set to open on the current Andover and Lahser campuses in the fall of 2013.

They will vote through the district's internal Internet-based communication system through 3 p.m. on April 9. The winning artist(s) will receive Spirit Wear incorporating their design, and have a commemorative plaque outlining their contribution to the school's new identity at Bloomfield Hills High School.

Students in a similar voting process in February. The winner will be announced when students return from spring break.
