Birmingham-Bloomfield Symphony Orchestra

- Why Go: The Birmingham-Bloomfield Symphony Orchestra will perform a series of chamber works with guest conductor John Thomas Dodson. Guest soloist Amy Porter will also join performances of J.S. Bach, Haydn and Corigliano.

- Why Go: Detroit-native Erik Ásgeirsson (cello) returns from Berlin with Los Angeles-born violinist Timothy Braun to perform duos by Kodaly, Hosokawa and Martinu, and Trio in d minor by Felix Mendelssohn with CSD Artistic Director, pianist Pauline Martin.
