Letter to the Editor: Signs Disappearing

You won't be surprised to hear that a Bloomfield citizen is writing a letter about political sign stealing during this difficult high school debate. Depressing as it is, I have to report that a number (I count 5) of VOTE YES on March 8 were stolen from my neighborhood last night. Neighbors are reporting this to the police.

This is particularly depressing in that the political debate at hand involves children and teenagers. Many are acutely aware of the upcoming vote and for them to see a political contest involve theft and invasion of privacy is sad.

I urge all parties to discourage this sort of activity.
