Marine with AK-47 May Be Headed to Oakland County to Kill Wife: Police

The U.S. Marine Corps contacted the Oakland County Sheriff's Office after Marine allegedly threatened to kill his wife.

The U.S. Marine Corps on Tuesday warned the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office to be on the lookout for a 21-year-old Marine armed with an AK-47 who allegedly made “credible threats” to kill his estranged wife, who lives in Pontiac.

Clenard Gee-Simmons broke out of his low priority lockdown unit at Camp Lejune, NC, early Monday morning and may be headed to Pontiac, where his wife moved after leaving North Carolina, the sheriff’s office said. She has filed for divorce, and Gee-Simmons allegedly had made “multiple threats” to kill his wife.
