On Jan. 26, police responded to the 3200 block of Greentree after a homeowner returned home to find entry had been forced into the home sometime between 3:45 and 7:30 p.m. Personal items were stolen.

Police also said they have taken several reports from residents who said they had received phone calls from a man identifying himself as an Oakland County sheriff’s deputy and informing them that a warrant had been issued for their arrest and soliciting money to clear the warrant.
