Merrill Lynch Financial Advisor Melissa Spickler Named To Barron’s “America's Top 100 Women Financial Advisors” list in 2017

Melissa Spickler Named as one of America's Top Women Financial Advisors

Merrill Lynch Financial Advisor and Bloomfield Hills resident Melissa Spickler has been recognized by Barron’s as one of "America's Top 100 Women Financial Advisors" in 2017. This is the sixth year in a row Spickler is included among Barron’s Top 100 Women Financial Advisors.

Melissa was also named on the Barron’s list of Top 1200 Financial Advisors in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017.

This recognition is not only an industry honor, but also a testament to her accomplishments. Spickler, who joined Merrill Lynch in 1980, holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation. Melissa has served as a member of Merrill Lynch’s Advisory Council to Management. In 2015, Melissa received the Outstanding Business Leader Award from Northwood University, and she is the executive director of the Detroit Area Chapter of the Women’s Exchange.

She earned he bachelor’s degree in criminal law from Michigan State University.

Advisors considered for the “America's Top 100 Women Financial Advisors” list ranking have a minimum of seven years financial services experience and have been employed at their current firm for at least one year. Quantitative and qualitative measures used to determine the Advisor rankings include: client assets, return on assets, client satisfaction/retention, compliance records, and community involvement, among others.
