Merrill Lynch Financial Advisor, Scott Hankins, Named A Forbes Top Next Generation Wealth Advisor
Hankins One of Just 500 Financial Advisors chosen from across America for the "Top Next Generation" List

Merrill Lynch wealth management advisor, Scott Hankins, has been named to Forbes America’s Top 500 Next Generation Wealth Advisor list. Hankins joined Merrill Lynch in 2007. As a senior financial advisor he leads a team from his Dearborn, MI office, working with clients to define and prioritize their goals, and developing strategies to achieve those goals. It is a personalized, client-focused approach utilizing the Merrill Lynch goals based wealth management program.
Scott’s work at Merrill Lynch comes naturally as his father, Mark Hankins, was a longtime financial advisor for the firm. “One of my father’s great lessons was each individual has different investment priorities and goals,” said Hankins. “Getting to know each client and their objectives is the key to successful wealth management planning.”
Scott and his team are active in the community, contribute to a number of charitable causes including scholarship funds for high school athletes in Wayne County, and work closely with organizations such as the Stephen Tulloch Foundation.

The Forbes Top 500 Next Generation Wealth Advisor list is based on advisors born in 1980 or more recent. Nominations were accepted from three types of practitioners: Advisors who have built and lead their own teams, advisors who are part of teams of specialists, and those who are hybrids of those two models. Most important is best practices— client service models, investing process, business types, leveraging a team and firm resources, experience levels, credentials, and overall quality of the practitioner and practice.
