1:00 pm to 2:00 pm | Live Animal Presentation | FREE

Did you know that Michigan bats have their babies in June or that flying squirrels may be visiting your bird feeders at night? How about that skunks are no match for the Great Horned Owl that has a poor sense of smell? Join The Organization for Bat Conservation as they share many more fun facts about what different Michigan animals are up to in the summer months. You will see live animals that you may find around your campsite or even outside your home.

2:00 pm to 3:00 pm | Bat House Building Workshop | $60/kit

In this hands-on workshop, participants will build a bat house that can be installed in their backyard. Guests will also learn about the types of bats that they are likely to find in their bat house as well as tips to attract bats. Participants will need to purchase a bat house kit through the online reservation link for $60/kit. This activity is limited to the first 25 registered participants. Proceeds benefit The Organization for Bat Conservation and Cranbrook House and Gardens Auxiliary.
