Nominate Now: Athletes of the Winter Season
Get nominations in by 5 p.m. Friday for consideration for Patch's Athlete of the Season polls for the winter season!
Patch will launch its Athlete of the Season polls for Oakland County next week, and it's time for family members, teammates and coaches to nominate their choices for Bloomfield's winter sports stars.
Once all the nominations are in, Patch editors will review them and design the polls to run much like our series
How to nominate
Parents, teammates, fans or coaches may nominate athletes until 5 p.m. Friday in two ways:

- In the comments area below, enter the nominee's name, school, sport and the reasons for the nomination.
- Upload a photo or video of the nominee, and include the information in the caption.
Please give as much detailed information as possible on why the nominee is a deserving candidate for the award.

What you should know
Winners from our weekly polls are automatically considered for this Patch Athlete of the Season recognition. Students from Bloomfield area schools were nominated several times during the season, including wrestler Andrew Napieraj, who won the .
Last fall, Andover High School soccer star .
Nominations will be just one of the factors considered in choosing the list of athletes who will be in the poll, which will go online next Tuesday, March 27.
