Oktoberfest Celebration at Franklin Public Library

New OKTOBERFEST Fundraising Event - a first for Franklin Village!

You’re invited to join the Friends of Franklin Public Library as they roll out the “bierbarrel” to benefit the continued enhancement of the Franklin Public Library.

The evening promises a Bavarian beer hall style party brimming with lots of oompah and community spirit.

Oktoberfest goers will taste and compare various delicious craft beers from local microbrewery, Farmington Brewing Co, listen and dance to fun, upbeat music from the Kielbasa Kings Polka Band and enjoy classic and tasty Oktoberfest fare, courtesy of Bingham Farm’s Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern.

All proceeds benefit the Franklin Public Library and will be used to continue enhancements to the library’s newly expanded interior and planned outdoor reading areas. Proceeds will also be used for continued support of the library’s adult and children’s reading programs and expansion of its DVD collection.

Sponsors and contributors such as Independent Bank, The Rusty Bucket, Redwood Dental and The Shwayder Company are thrilled to support the library and this new event as part of their local community outreach. Sponsorships are still available at several levels. For more information, please contact hmydloski@icloud.com.
