Rep. McCready, House colleagues reveal priorities for 2017-18

The new House Republican Action Plan outlines key principles and priorities that will guide the House over the next two years

State Rep. Mike McCready, of Bloomfield Hills, today praised the new House Republican Action Plan, which outlines key principles and priorities that will guide the House over the next two years.

McCready said he’s particularly pleased that the plan focuses on improving roads and bridges, investing in classrooms and career and technical education, and increasing government transparency.

“It’s important to have a plan in place to ensure we stay on track and accomplish our goals,” McCready said. “Our state has come a long way over the past seven years, but we still have more work to do. The people of Michigan deserve better roads and stronger bridges, and our kids deserve a first-class education. These are the things that matter most to Michigan families, and I’m committed to making meaningful changes.”
