Sofi K Raises Money, Plans to Sing at Wish Upon a Teen Prom
Every kid should have a prom, 14-year-old professional singer from Bloomfield Hills says.

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI – Sofi K, the 14-year-old pop singer from Bloomfield Hills High School who launched her debut album last fall, thinks every teen ought to have a high school prom.
So she’s raising money and has offered to sing at a prom sponsored by Wish Upon a Teen for kids whose serious illnesses mean they’re not able to attend their own proms and other milestone events.
The young virtuoso picked up the violin at age 4, joined the Livonia Youth Symphony two years later, and has taken voice and dance lessons throughout her young life. Her voice has towered in the choir at the First United Methodist Church in Birmingham, in theater productions at Bloomfield Hills Public Schools, with the Motor City Melodies youth singing troupe, in theater productions at Cranbrook Theatre and the Village Players in Birmingham, and the Traverse City Film Festival.
