Viewfinder: Fundraising Goal Surpassed At Walk/Run To Honor Peter Catcho

Students and parents turn out to help benefit the American Heart Association, and honor a friend.

Dozens turned out to honor Peter Catcho Sunday at and to help raise awareness about the heart ailment that caused his death. By walking or running along the track in special t-shirts, they helped surpass the $10,000 fund-raising goal set by some of his former classmates.

Catcho, a 17-year-old Andover student, died in his sleep from a heart-related illness in March. Sunday's event was organized by the Andover girls cross country team in his honor.

All proceeds from the run/walk will be donated to the American Heart Association in memory of Peter.
