Saturday's title was the school's ninth and first since 2010. Head Coach Kurt Keener's squad lost to Lansing Sexton in the semi-finals in each of the past two seasons.

"Somebody has asked us if it ever gets old and (to answer them), no," Keener told MIPrepZone.
Austin Price (15 points) and Edmond Sumner (13 points) paced the Yellowjackets, who finished the season 25-3, MIPrepZone reported.

The road to Saturday's final at the Breslin Center in East Lansing included wins over Flint Powers (79-61) in the quarterfinals, and Cadillac (73-42) in Friday night's semifinal.
