5 Things to Know for Labor Day Weekend

Brighton residents will mark the unofficial end of summer with a long weekend ahead of the federalΒ Labor Day holiday onΒ Monday, Sept. 2.

For your convenience, the following is a quick guide to what's closed, traffic, weather and more.

  1. What's closed:Β The City andΒ Township Offices, the Brighton DistrictΒ LibraryΒ and the United States Postal ServiceΒ will be closed for Labor Day.
  2. Weather forecast:Β The National Weather Service forecasts highs in the mid-80s andΒ lows in the 60s, along with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, throughout the holiday weekend.
