This year brooch bouquets have become very popular with brides.
I love this new trend because brides can use brooches and other jewerly from their family members like mothers, grandmothers, aunts, etc.
As a bride walks down the aisle, a piece of a person she loves is carried with her!
Also, her bouquet remains a keepsake, that she will have the rest of her life.
These bouquets are beautiful, but can get very pricey if you purchase the brooches yourself, so I always tell my brides to ask family & friends to bring a brooch or some kind of jewels to her shower.
One of the down-sides to a vintage brooch bouquet would be that they do become fairly heavy, and you would not want to use it as a toss bouquet...as it could really hurt someone! Lol
I have also done boutonnière's, corsages & headpieces out of brooches and jewerly!
Getting married soon? Think about a brooch bouquet!
