• Man to serve 6 years for Metro Detroit auto-theft, business-burglary ring (theoaklandpress.com) — A Macomb County man has been sentenced to six to 20 years for his role in a stolen-vehicle and business-burglary ring that hit multiple Metro Detroit communities, including one break-in in Brighton. The crew used cars stolen from dealerships to target eateries and gas stations across the region, and all three co-defendants have now received prison terms and restitution orders.
