Districtwide, Brighton High School had the highest multiracial enrollment, while state funding increases and free meals aim to support all Michigan students, including those in Brighton.
   

• Brandon Inge, Shane Greene play Banana Ball at Comerica Park (fooshya.com) — Former Tigers favorite Brandon Inge, who now runs a baseball and softball training facility in Brighton, joined Banana Ball festivities at a sold-out Comerica Park appearance. Alongside ex-reliever Shane Greene, he entertained more than 40,000 fans as the Savannah Bananas' Party Animals brought their high-energy, trick-play style to Detroit for the first time.
