February is the month of love, and this month Bagger Dave’s is opening their hearts to thousands of Michigan families associated with the Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan. During the month of February, all Bagger Dave’s Michigan locations are taking part in the Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan’s 2013 Hearts of Hope campaign. Bagger Dave’s patrons can support the foundation by purchasing a paper heart pinup for $1 at participating locations: Ann Arbor, Berkley, Bloomfield Township, Brighton, Cascade Township, East Lansing, Grand Rapids, Holland, Novi and Shelby Township.
“We are proud to offer our support to the children and families that benefit from the Children’s Leukemia Foundation,” said T. Michael Ansley, president and CEO of Diversified Restaurant Holdings, Inc., the owner and operator Bagger Dave’s. “Each dollar donated at the restaurants will stay here in Michigan and directly benefit families in our communities as they experience one of the most difficult situations imaginable.”
With the purchase of a paper heart pinup, supporters have the option to write a personalized message that will be displayed throughout the participating restaurant. The campaign is designed to benefit more than 4,500 Michigan families affected by leukemia, lymphoma and related blood disorders who have turned to the Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan for financial assistance and emotional support.
