Breakfast, Drive May 5 to Raise Money for Local Students

On Sunday May 5, 2013, representatives from Pinckney Chrysler will partner with St. Mary School parents and teachers for a Drive for the Kids™ Fundraiser to help raise money in support of the purchase of new math books.

Also that morning the St. Mary Men’s Club will host a country style hot breakfast from 8:30-11am. The cost is a free-will donation. Both events will take place at the school and are open to the public.

Between 8:30 am – noon, parents and guests will have the opportunity to earn a $10 contribution for the school from the Chrysler brand by taking a test drive in the award-winning 2013 Chrysler Town & Country minivan – highest ranked in loyalty 11 years in a row – or other 2013 model Chrysler brand vehicles provided by Pinckney Chrysler. Dealership volunteers will be on hand to answer questions.

At the conclusion of the program, the school with the highest number of test drives in each one of the five geographic regions (Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Central, and West) will win an additional $5,000, for a total of $25,000 in additional funding from Chrysler through the Drive for the Kids program.

In 1993, Chrysler introduced Drive for the Kids and became the first automotive manufacturer to reach out in direct support of local schools. Since then, Chrysler dealers have worked with parents and educators across the nation to contribute nearly $5 million to schools located in communities where Chrysler and its dealers do business.
