Firehouse Subs Brighton Celebrates Anniversary with Free Subs for Guests

BRIGHTON FIREHOUSE SUBS® CELEBRATES FIRST ANNIVERSARY WITH FREE SIGNATURE SUB

BRIGHTON, Mich. – To celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Brookside Mall Firehouse Subs, the restaurant is handing out its best-selling signature sub. On Monday, Feb. 18, guests who visit Firehouse Subs located at 101 Brookside Lane from 2-5 p.m. will receive a free medium Hook & Ladder® sub. Local franchisees and father-daughter duo John and Jennifer Kupiec want to thank the community for its continued support of their restaurant and the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. The Kupiecs are also excited to announce the Foundation has awarded the Brighton Area Fire Authority a grant for $26,062. A portion of the grant funds came from guest donations in the Brighton restaurant. An official donation ceremony will be held this spring.

“We are extremely blessed to be part of such a great community,” said John Kupiec. “The success of this restaurant and its ability to give back to the community through the Public Safety Foundation would not be possible without their continued support.”

Firehouse Subs favorites include the Hook & Ladder® piled high with Smoked Turkey and Virginia Honey Ham smothered with Monterey Jack cheese and the New York Steamer®, inspired by New York delicatessens, with corned beef brisket and pastrami topped with melted Provolone.  All large Specialty Subs boast a half-pound of meat. Other top sellers include the Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket™, Italian™ and Firehouse Meatball® subs. The restaurant features a Coca-Cola Freestyle® fountain, offering 120+ sparkling and still beverage brands including the top selling non-carbonated fountain drink, Cherry Lime-Aid®, an exclusive original recipe by Firehouse Subs, served with fresh squeezed lime.

Firehouse Subs® is a fast casual restaurant chain with a passion for Hearty and Flavorful Food, Heartfelt Service and Public Safety. Founded by former firefighters and brothers Chris Sorensen and Robin Sorensen, Firehouse Subs is a brand built on decades of fire and police service, the highest quality meats and cheeses piled higher, steaming hot subs, and its commitment to saving lives through the creation of Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. The founders are the real deal, the food is their creation, and the company is built upon a family of franchise operators that share their same passion for serving others. Firehouse Subs consistently ranks No. 1 among fast casual brands in the categories of food quality, taste and flavor, and friendly service; for the last two years Franchise Business Review has ranked it No. 1 in franchisee satisfaction, and in 2012, the brand earned first place honors in the sandwich category in the Nation’s Restaurant News Consumer Picks study.

In 2005, Firehouse Subs created the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation with the mission of providing funding, life-saving equipment, and educational opportunities to first-responders and public safety organizations. Through the non-profit 501(c)(3), Firehouse Subs has given $5.7 million to hometown heroes in 36 states and Puerto Rico, including more than $26,062 in Michigan.

Located at 101 Brookside Lane, Firehouse Subs Brighton is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. For more information on this event, call 810.220.3500.
