
Kensington Metropark golf course opens April 14. The 18-hole golf course covers 6,345 yards with a par of 71.
Special construction rates are in effect through April 22: 18 holes can be played for $13, or $10 for seniors 62 and over and juniors up to 20 years old, plus cart rental of $7.50 per person.
Spring rates are: With cart, 18 holes for $25, 9 holes for $18 ($20/$15 for seniors and juniors); without cart, 18 holes for $18, 9 holes for $13 ($14/$10 for seniors and juniors).

New this year, junior rates are extended to people 20 years old and younger, in an effort to encourage young people to golf.
Super Golf Day will be held on Tuesday, June 7 at Kensington Metropark; $10 per player, includes cart, foursomes required. This offer excludes leagues.

Regular golf course hours are 8 a.m. until dusk daily with hours extending as daylight increases. Tee times can be reserved up to two weeks in advance and golfers are advised to call in advance of tee time to confirm course conditions.
Golf accessories, beer, wine and a limited selection of food are available at the temporary golf starter facility, which will serve golfers while a new golf starter building is under construction.Β Coolers are not allowed on the course.
A vehicle entry permit is required to enter any Metropark and is only $25 annually for regular admission, $15 annually for seniors or $5 daily. The daily permit offers a $4 coupon, good that day only, off greens fees.
