Michigan Mutual, Inc. Hosts Former NBA Player, Local High School Students, at Company Pep Rally

Port Huron, Mich.-based Michigan Mutual, Inc., a nationally recognized, full-service residential mortgage lender with a branch office in Brighton, hosted former NBA player, ESPN broadcaster, University of Michigan graduate and author Tim McCormick to deliver a motivational speech to the company’s 500 employees, in addition to a group of selected high school students from Southfield Public Schools, at a company pep rally on Friday, April 12. Michigan Mutual, Inc.’s Senior Vice President and Co-Founder Hale Walker made the announcement.
During the event, McCormick shared life lessons and humorous anecdotes from his career as a college and NBA basketball player and encouraged attendees to strive for their own personal best and to never give up on their personal and professional goals. Following the speech, both employees and the students from Southfield Public Schools had the opportunity to meet McCormick and receive a personalized, autographed photo.
