Panera Bread Contributes To Flint Shelter

One Sunday a month, I go to My Brother’s Keeper Shelter for Homeless Men in Flint with my church Heritage Hills in Hartland.

I wash the dishes and serve dinner.

On Saturday night, my receptionist went to Panera Bread in Brighton to pick up the days left over bread and pastries.

Panera Bread disposes of each days breads and pastries, so that you get fresh stuff every day. They work with charitable organizations in their town to distribute the day old food.

I was taken back by how generous they were.

I will always be a customer of Panera Bread for the following reasons…

  • They make their food fresh daily.
  • They stick to the highest quality of food.
  • They work to aid the local community.

Any company that holds their product and community in such high esteem, is a company I will continue to visit.

On behalf of all the men and workers at My Brother’s Keeper in Flint, I say thank you, thank you, thank you."
