Senior Benefits Group is Guiding Their Clients Through the Complex Web of Medicare

The world of Medicare and retirement planning can be intimidating for seniors in this day and age- primarily due to the confusion and uncertainty surrounding it.

Senior Benefits Group (SBG) is working diligently to provide its clients with the education that they need to make the best possible decisions in retirement. The advisors at Senior Benefits Group have years of experience in retirement advising and their expertise in Medicare is unparalleled.  They are spreading their knowledge to their clients and beyond, in hopes that older adults will be empowered with knowledge and less likely to fall for insurance scams.

The newest program developed by Senior Benefits Group is called “The Empowering Seniors Program”, which is designed to educate seniors across the state about various topics concerning retirement. The educational events, also known as “learning luncheons” will be held at various locations, including senior centers, and will be tailored to fit the needs of attendees. The topics include but are not limited to, Medicare, Estate Planning, Health & Wellness, Prescription Plans, Wealth Transfer and more.

SBG’s chief executive officer, Chris Alberta, is an expert in retirement and will lead the educational events. The idea behind these events is that seniors are provided with real, valuable information in a non-captive setting. “There are too many people making huge life decisions without the proper knowledge, based on the great pitches of sneaky salesmen,” says Alberta. “Our goal is to provide honest expertise to make the decisions easier for seniors. We want to be considered as advocates- serving our clients, not just selling to them.”

The next event of the “Empowering Seniors Program” is set for June 11 and 13 at the Laurel Manor in Livonia, MI. This event will be for existing SBG clients and two of their guests, and is titled, “Annuities: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.” Updates on public events will be coming soon.
