Photography #101 classes on THURSDAYS orSATURDAYS in APRIL

NOW ACCEPTING REGISTRATION FOR UPCOMING PHOTOGRAPHY #101 CLASS TO BE HELD IN APRIL.

NOT HAPPY WITH YOUR PHOTOS? Whether you are the family photojournalist or want better photos for your projects, this class will teach you to capture better photos.

Don't worry about having a "fancy" camera, this class is for people with "point & shoot" cameras and for people who want to learn the basics of their DSLR cameras.

Each of the three-session classes will have two parts, the first will focus (pun intended) on getting you familiar with your camera and the second part of each session we will discuss composition and tips for the various type of photos, such as people, pets & portraits, landscapes and still-lives to help you develop (pun again) your “artistic eye”.

There are extensive hand-outs and there are homework assignments (and even quizzes) - so you can practice what you learn and we'll review them at the beginning of the next session.

The instructor, Sue Balk, says, "My photos have been awarded over 21 Best-in-Shows and over two hundred blue ribbons in the six years exhibiting them. They have appeared in many venues locally and in books, newspapers, websites and even in national magazines. I enjoy sharing my camera and computer skills to help others create their own award-worthy photos. Hope you can join us."

Pre-registration is required and class size is limited.

There are two sets of dates for this three-session class, one on Thursdays and one on Saturdays.

Dates for the next three-session class on Thursdays are April 18^th, 25^th and May 2^nd. 

And dates for the three-session Saturday classes are April 13rd. 20^th and 27^th.

The classes start at 1:00. and are held in Brighton.

Each class lasts about 1.5 to 2.5 hours.

Cost for the three-session class is $75 plus a $10 material fee.
