Work Skills Corporation Brings on a New Foundation Development Manager

Local Non-Profit Company Strengthens Resources

Brighton, MI –Work Skills Corporation (WSC) announces that Julie Smith has joined the company to further develop the WSC Foundation, which contributes toward WSC’s continuing efforts to support the community and strive for their mission to “Optimize Human Potential”.  Julie comes to Work Skills with a wealth of experience within the non-profit industry, having spent the last eight years at LACASA where she was instrumental in heading their fundraising efforts as their Development Director.  Joining Work Skills Corporation as the Development Manager of the WSC Foundation will allow Julie to continue her success.

Work Skills Corporation has been providing employment, training, education and health care services to people for 40 years.  In addition to their core business offerings, their most recent venture is with Studio West, Home of Art with a Heart.  Julie comments, “I have believed in WSC and the things they do for people in the community for over 25 years since moving to the area.  I am thrilled to be part of this worthwhile organization and am fortunate to be joining such a respected company that prides itself on top quality services.”
