Art in the Park Slated for this Weekend

The Pinckney-Lakeland-Hamburg-Hell (PLHH) Chamber of Commerce will kick off the summer season of activities and events in Pinckney with the 21^st Annual Art in the Park event June 4-5. Art in the Park, which is always the weekend following Memorial Day, takes place in Putnam Township Square in downtown Pinckney.

Over 100 fine artists and crafters will be on hand to demonstrate and sell their wares, including some expanded booth areas on South Howell Street. Paintings, pottery and ceramics, mixed media art, jewelry, photography and woodworking are among original and unique works for sale.

Continuous free entertainment will take place all day both days in the gazebo with performers from throughout Livingston County.

This iconic free event brings over 15,000 spectators to town for two days of shopping, entertainment, food and more. Livingston Street will feature inflatables and a rock wall for children and adults to enjoy.

The CAPS fair will be close at hand on Saturday with a petting zoo and areas for the children. Car enthusiasts are encouraged to bring their classic vehicles on Sunday.

Art in the Park hours are 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.
