Questions Sought for State Police Column

The Michigan State Police-Brighton Post is beginning a community outreach information program called “Ask A Trooper.”

The program’s goal is to offer citizens an easy way to ask questions about criminal law, traffic law, search and seizure, law enforcement operations, court operations and any other questions about the law enforcement community. 

Those questions will be answered by a trooper or other authoritative source.

By answering these questions, law enforcement officials hope to provide a service and help the community become more informed, from reliable sources, about criminal and traffic laws and various law enforcement actions.

The Brighton Post will distribute press releases of questions and answers for area media outlets to disseminate through this public outreach information program.
