Meet Beckham Johnston!   A lot of our clients ask if we will work with their child (we most definitely will). So when one of our clients, Kevin approached us about working with his son we of course had noproblem. But, Beckham was a unique case, he has been diagnosed with Autism at 18 months old. Kevin had researched massage as a therapeutic tool for Beckham and figured we might be a good fit for their son.

Well we were thrilled to work with him and Ashley has so far made a difference in his life. On massage days he is noticeably more relaxed as the therapy takes the tension out of his body. Ashley makes a special trip to Beckham’s house so he is comfortable and that maximizes the massage benefits.

Here at Tocca Massage we try to make sure that any causes we support either benefit our local community or our clients. And it was a no-brainer when Kevin mentioned they belong to Autism Speaks. Thus, Autism Awareness Month was born to contribute to a worthwhile cause and vastly misunderstood condition.
The Arc of Livingston is a 501(c) (3) non-profit membership organization (and a United Way partner agency) advocating for people with developmental disabilities in Livingston County, Michigan. We continue to grow and respond to the needs of our citizens with disabilities in an effort to support their participation in and contribution to the community.
