Brighton High's Alice in Wonderland holds Tea Party
High schoolers had a tea party at the Brighton High cafeteria in honor of the upcoming play, Alice in Wonderland.

Alice in Wonderland is coming to the Brighton Center for the Performing Arts this November. A “Mad Hatter” Tea Party, in its honor, will be hosted at the Brighton High cafeteria this Sunday, November 9th from 2 to 4 pm. Cast members will be dressed as their roles, like Alice, the Cheshire Cat, and the Mad Hatter. Tickets were sold on-line.
Some events for kids will be a Cake Walk, a bean bag toss, sugar cube race, and Pin-the-Grin on the Cheshire Cat. Tables will be set up for the various cast members and attendants will be able to spend time with all characters as they will rotate tables throughout the afternoon. There will also be goody bags and door prizes. Each child will receive a novelty tea cup and cut-out paintings will be set up for children to transform into a character from the play.
This promotional event will be full of cupcakes, cookies, and tea. Alice hopefully will draw attention to the play productions to come on November 20, 21, and 22 at 7 pm in the BCPA. Also November 22 and 23 there will be a 3 pm performance.

“The students have been working hard, and I know that all of their efforts will contribute to the event being a success,” play director Krysia Alexander said.
