ET GO HOME! Community Meeting: July 16, 2015 at Pathfinder School, 2100 M-36, Pinckney, MI 48169
Concerned about PIPELINES? Want to know more about your rights, safety, and how you and your family will be affected? Come to this meeting!
A Texas-based company, Rover Pipeline LLC, plans to run a 42 inch natural gas transmission line through Putnam Township, continuing on to Canada. Construction is slated to begin January 2016, with 3.25 billion cubic feet of natural gas flowing daily in 2017.
A group of panelists will address issues surrounding the proposed Rover Pipeline from landowner, legal, safety, and economic perspectives. You will have an opportunity to ask questions and learn how you can help stop the pipeline through Putnam Township. Our goal is to convince elected officials and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) that putting a 700+ mile, 42-inch fracked-gas pipeline within 100 feet of residential homes is not necessary, not in the public interest, a danger to the environment, and harmful to property values.
