Brighton Recreation Area hosts a work day on Saturday, June 18 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The focus will be on getting rid of invasive weed species, particularly garlic mustard, so it doesn't take over local woodlands.
(As the April work day scheduled to deal with this problem was cancelled, the day's activities probably won't address the sweet clover that might overtake the prairie area.)

Meet at the Teahen prairie entrance (look for a blue and white state truck where Teahen Road makes a 90 degree turn). Roadside parking is available.
