LESA Hosts Meeting for Parents of Gifted Students

Options and support for High Ability, Gifted Students, a meeting for parents of children through eighth grade offered by the Michigan Association for Gifted Children takes place from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11 at Livingston ESA, 1425 W. Grand River, Howell.

Programming may be going away, but the children are still there waiting to learn! 

Everyone is welcome to come discover the options for parents and school districts to make a difference for gifted students.

The main goal is first to be informed and then work positively and cooperatively with the districts to enhance what it already offered.

This meeting also includes general information about gifted children as well as suggestions for parents as individual advocates and guidance on putting together an advocacy group.
